COMPANY PROFILE

The idea for Triex Capital was born in July 2019 at a Medical Imaging Conference in Denver, CO. While attending the conference as a consultant, Scott Woodring was introduced as someone “on the finance side” of the industry. It became clear that there was a huge need in the market to provide financing, insurance coverage and service agreement bundling. A need was discovered.  And a solution was built. After many discussions and much strategic planning, Triex Capital Partners was formed and through a strategic partnership, accomplished the goal of providing exactly what those customers in Denver needed – financing, insurance coverage and service agreements bundled together in one monthly payment. Simple. Reliable. Flexible

Scott Woodring

Scott has over 20 years of experience in the equipment finance industry and has successfully fulfilled roles in sales, marketing, management, administration, and documentation.  He has experience providing funding for transactions from $10,000 - $20,000,000 +.  He has successfully funded deals across the entire credit spectrum for virtually all collateral types and has been instrumental in working with manufacturers, dealers, equipment leasing brokers, and lessors in implementing finance programs that meet the specific needs of their customers and increase sales.  He has served in various capacities in the most well-known equipment finance associations, including NEFA, AACFB and ELFA and is also active in medical imaging associations (AHRA and RSNA).  He has won numerous awards throughout his career. But it can never be all work and no play. Scott is a HUGE music enthusiast, beginning his love for music collecting at the age of 10 when he bought his first set of 45’s at a garage sale. Throw in dedication to fitness, being an avid movie watcher and a love of cooking and you begin to understand some of the things that make Scott tick outside of the office.

Craig wainScott

Craig spent the first 25 years of his career in the global investment management industry, with leadership positions in the US, Australia, and Canada. He continues to stay involved in the investment world as the independent chair of a mutual fund board. These days he is an advisor to (and sometimes leader of) early-stage companies. He likes to fix things. He is also involved in several efforts in Africa, both for-profit and non-profit. Along with family and church, Craig’s happy place begins where the pavement ends: fishing, hiking, camping, and boating. He has a 50 ton Master credential from the US Coast Guard. And he’s a bit of a gear junkie, which he justifies by being a member of the local
search and rescue team.
